Digital X-ray images, also called digital dental radiographs, are among the most valuable tools dentists have to help keep your teeth healthy and your smile radiant.

Digital X-rays images are taken with the help of a small sensor around inside a patient's mouth. The images instantly pop up on a computer screen and then loaded into a file especially for a specific patient. X-rays images can also be enlarged and manipulated, which many dentists say, have improved the viewing ability for analysis and diagnosis of what’s going on inside a patient's mouth.
